I’ll be so glad when my settlement money gets paid in to my bank. Desperately need new blinds and the blanket (temporary) keeps falling down even with been held up with hammered in nails/tacks.

I get it, the weather is crap, nothing has been gritted or ploughed, buses are pretty much knocking and somehow no taxi firms in Aberdeen are taking advance booking for tomorrow morning.

The charity phoned earlier and they’ve rebooked my collection for next week. The roads are atrocious all over the northeast and it makes sense to delay it. It also gives me a little longer to double check everything on the list and also wipe down any of the furniture that needs to be done again.

The village square (fubar news over on faceache) is pretty much giving out almost every minute updates for the roads in the city and shire.

The door into the building has finally been fixed today and so far it has been forced more than anyone trying to get in has thought “I’ll use my keys” or press a button on the buzzer panel. 🤦♀️
