I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

There has got to be a better way to teach subjects where you don't oversimplify the info, we shouldn't teach people in basic chemistry that there are 3 states of matter to later say "nvm we lied". It creates confusion and idiots who insist their high school education is the sum of human knowledge.
