It's not often that a device from one episode of Gobots carries into another but there are rare cases where the shows brings something back, one example is the Neural Lock which appeared in the episode Doppelganger and can be used to disable Gobots. It appeared later... 1/2

The episode Wolf in the Fold introduces the Image Simulator Circuit, a device used by the Renegades to disguise themselves with a hologram. The episode ends with Turbo and Leader-1 pretty much setting up an episode where it returns, it never comes back again.

It's the end of the year so here's my top 10 transforming toys I got this year, rules are, anything that transforms can be included no matter the franchise and I had to have gotten it this year.
I didn't get that much this year so numbers 10 and 9 aren't as good as the rest.

While we know Pumper was planned to appear in the cartoon through his model sheet, said sheet only shows him in his alt mode and as far as I'm aware there has never been a second model sheet for the character with his robot mode. Perhaps implying he was supposed to show up... 1/2

The Machine Robo animes have characters that are very humanoid but still transform like Sara who we see in her alt mode and Rudi who we never see transform or in an alt mode but her design has visible wheels on her shoulders implying she can probably transform.

The reason for Odd Ball's... well... odd alt mode appearance in terms of vehicle mode is because the figure is a "Renegade Robot Monster," which is very obviously just different phrasing to say it's a Monster Gobot who also all have pretty similarly nondescript alt modes.

While I don't expect this to be the case, there is some minimal evidence that the Wendy's Gobots released before the Wendy's release with there being versions of the toys without the Wendy's logo, and also the non Wendy's marked ones had a 1985 date rather than 1986... 1/2

The new Powerglide figure has been officially revealed and with that we have the final mold needed for our new G1 Gobots collection with Powerglide being used for Bad Boy. I'd expect a new Bad Boy figure by the end of next year.

The new Powerglide figure has been officially revealed and with that we have the final mold needed for our new G1 Gobots collection with Powerglide being used for Bad Boy. I'd expect a new Bad Boy figure by the end of next year.

Guide Star is the most unique of the Wendy's Gobots with it being the only one of the six specifically designed for kids under 3 which explains the single transformation step and the lack of any protruding parts like arms.

There are two episodes of Gobots to feature psychics in them with The Seer and Renegade Carnival, in both episodes the psychic powers as being completely legitimate. They are also 2 of only 5 episodes to feature Block Head in them and released 15 episodes apart.

The Aqua Robo and Bike Robo from Machine Robo Rescue share an identical transformation which leaves the Aqua Robo with an alt mode that is very visually similar to the original Bike Robo aka Cy-Kill because the Bike Supporter Robo was an homage to that toy.

The cancelled Nemesis Power Warrior seemingly used a completely new Renegade logo which extended the grid pattern and got rid of the yellow border as well as changing the lightning direction. I say seemingly because if it was used on another toy, it was one I've not seen before.

Scooter seemingly didn't have any changes made to the toy when he was brought over from Machine Robo's Scooter Robo to Gobots or other toylines. However, there actually were some very subtle changes like an additional copyright logo on the Gobots release and Bandai... 1/2

The Guardian logo only appeared on two toys in the original Gobots toyline with Courageous, and Rumble. However, if you expand your horizons to any officially released toy then there is also Legacy Pathfinder who is the only sentient character from the show to have it.
