I saw a clip of a documentary the other day that I cant get out my head. It's about this Indian young woman who was smiling while explaining why it was okay for her father to beat her. Fully convinced that she should be grateful because she was allowed to live despite her being born a girl.

You know how I knew they were listening. I started getting Spanish adds when after I started working with spanish speaking coworkers.
Do you remember when people were saying "I think my phone is listening to me, i'm getting ads for stuff I spoke about" and people said "They arent listening to you, they're just this good at predicting your interests"?

You know how I knew they were listening. I started getting Spanish adds when after I started working with spanish speaking coworkers.
One of the first things I hear people ask victims is if they went to the police. I understand the intent but the evidence that they dont care is well documented. I remember one precinct just threw them in a filing cabinet in storage and never sent it to labs.
No one who has seen the Epstein case unfold should have any doubt left about why victims don’t report. When reporting means facing more abuse, more exploitation, and more betrayal at the institutional level, while the perpetrators are the leaders of the very systems of “justice” supposed to help you

I just got blamed by my psychiatrist for no following up on the things they missed. New drug we're trying needed a PA from insurance. She felt it was 'weird' and she was 'curious' why I didn't notify her. She asked what my reason was for the inactivity. Like WHAT??
