Officially kicking off my Stephen King hardcover collection quest! The one rule is that I have to find them in the wild. Starting strong with these three from a library sale.

My favourite part of Sinners was when the whole movie was fucking amazing.

I absolutely hate this Minecraft "meme" of freaking out in the theatre at certain moments, but I have to say it would be pretty funny if we applied the same thing to a movie like The Amateur. Everyone loses their shit when Rami Malek says "No. I have exactly the right person."

It's getting tiresome listening to people complain that "everything is a sequel or a remake" while also watching every original movie make no money.

"Oh I'm sure Musk didn't do it intentionally." Totally. People are always accidentally doing nazi salutes on stage in front of thousands of people. Happens to everyone!

Hopefully the 28 Weeks Later trailer reminds Hollywood they can get creative with the audio instead of just going “What if Everlong but slowed waaaaaaaaay the fuck down???”

A small feature I wish all video games had is telling you exactly how long it has been since the game saved when you go to quit.

Very excited for the shadow drop of The Thing: Remastered. I remember really enjoying that game and we're set to get a huge drop of snow tomorrow night so this game is going to provide the PERFECT vibes.

If your narrative is "people aren't really being affected by the Canada Post strike" you're not talking to the right people.

It's -11 and snowing and I'm standing near a group of young dudes outside smoking in t-shirts, taking turns yelling variations of "Fuck! Why is it so fucking cold out????". I truly do hope they figure it out.

If there's one thing teens and senior citizens have in common, it's their love of having group conversations in the most inconvenient places for everyone else.

Finished Slitterhead with the true ending last night and I loved it. The combat is accessible but with some real depth and once I got a sense of the flow, it's incredibly satisfying. I don't think I could tell you what happened story-wise but I still enjoyed vibing with all the characters.

Yep, Dear Santa is indeed a mess. There's potential there and a couple ok parts but the tone is allllllllllll over the place. Likely too dark for young kids and too juvenile for adults. And the ending is truly baffling. Undermines the entire point of the movie for a cheap punchline. Just not good.
