I know this illegal purge of the FBI is terrible and chaotic, but I cannot help thinking that the spirit of Fred Hampton is having a good chuckle in the afterlife.

Spent eight hours at a wedding yesterday, gave up and did Irish exit before the cake. It was Chinese, started with tea ceremony and games for groom to prove he earned bride. Great traditions, just a long damn day.

My son had to go to urgent care for impacted ear wax. He has this hard kind that is genetic(adopted from China). So they flushed his ears and he texted “I can hear colors!”. Silly guy, but adorable.

Finn got a stylish hoodie for Christmas. To our surprise, he really likes it and has not tried to eat it like he does blankets.

Here is another quilt I made. This one was easy, used ten inch black squares and 2 1/2 inch strips sewn at angles in corners to make the stars. I have a lady who long arm quilts them for me.

My son also struggles to pay rent in Charlotte on basic wages. This is a solvable problem. Charlotte needs to step up.
