Went through that phase. Bought books. Did not start but when we remodeled home, put in concrete floor, smooth and painted, concrete countertops in kitchen and baths. Happy about it.

I cannot recall the last day that wasn’t a heat advisory day. Probably the day part of downtown flooded in ten inches of rain, losing us a Trader Joe, post office, Greek deli, bagel place, European bakery, coffee shop, plus other places. Trying to get away to mountains.

Reddit has r/QAnonCasualties which supports people and the stories are heartbreaking. Many, many divorces, elderly relatives losing money to scams, etc. I have been reading it for years and sometimes people come out of it and report on what helped.

Good wishes to you. I found turning 65 helped, having the security of Medicare( well, with paid supplement) was nice. Now at 73, I know I can find joy despite world events.
