Well, that's my vote.

A news TV station
in a blood red region
of Northern California
is running a poll
for the next three days
on how you feel about
FOTUS's policies on
immigration.

It's a simple
Yes or No vote
with no comment.

How about we show them
some BLUE? 😁🌊☑️👋🦋💙

The same elected official who “accidentally” said he’d repeal Loving v. Virginia
Indiana isn't as big as Texas or Florida, but for those of us in higher education, it's worth paying attention to what is (and has been) going on. Take the Governor's new budget, which cut all of the $10M previously allocated to Martin University, the only predominantly Black school in the state.

The Altadena seed library needs all of the help it can get- if you have native plant seeds to share, please make sure they find their way to this group. Monetary donations are also hugely welcome via gofund.me/6643efc6

Just a reminder that your local library has more than books! Many also have dvds, cds, video games, game systems, internet hot spots, streaming services, ebooks, audio books, park passes, museum passes, and so much more! Maybe it's time for a visit! ❤️📚

Jimmy Carter was too good for America, but being Jimmy Carter, he loved us anyway.

President Carter installed solar panels on the White House in 1979.

NINETEEN-SEVENTY-NINE, y’all. Imagine our world.

What a truly beautiful soul.

RIP President Carter 💚

The world lost a giant today. There aren’t many people on this planet who did more for humanity by living his values.

As we enter an age of uncertainty in 2025, we certainly need more champions of decency and Democracy like President Jimmy Carter.

Thank you for the gifts you gave this world. RIP

President Carter set an example for all of us.

Both in office and through the work of The Carter Center, President Carter dedicated his life to leadership and public service. History will remember his work and patriotism. What an amazing 100 years.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to justify your reading preferences and choices to anyone. Audiobooks count as reading. Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?
