The other day I couldn't figure out how to turn #Copilot off in the latest update to MSWord, and in my frustration was reminded of Old Man's War when John Perry names his BrainPal, "Asshole." I didn't get it at the time, but I do now. What a prophetic moment in time, @scalzi.com

It's no exaggeration to say that this is the darkest day in the history of the DOJ. The savage moves are a clusterbomb detonated against completely innocent and in fact estimable career prosecutors, who are the heart and soul of the Dept. There will be legal remedies, but that's beside the point.

Embrace who you are, but don't be a grimdark asshole. Lynch's work embraces the sublime& the savage equally. 1 tone/emotion does not prevail always. And if you think you must be an enigmatic jerk or bleak, cold meanie in order to make something profound or scary or weird, i beg you, grow the fuck up

Reading the last book in #throneofglass ATM, and I have a deep appreciation for how much Aelin gets done through the time honored tradition of writing letters dishing on her enemies to destabilize them and and create allies. Guys. This is how it was done in medieval Europe.
