This is egregiously false. They immediately gave unanimous consent as soon as Booker yielded the floor. They are absolutely not using every procedural tool at every turn. Lie better, damn.
They did and do. And when this was pointed out to you, you stomped your feet and pouted.

The outcome I want is literally for them to use every procedural tool they have at every turn. That’s it. That’s my ask. It’s not hard, just admit you know—as one of them—they don’t have the capacity to meet this moment.
There is no "procedural tool" that is going to produce the outcome you want.

Corey Booker voted this afternoon to keep sending bombs to Israel, which is much, much more meaningful and important than a speech about values, even if it did last 25 hours.

Asking them to use every procedural tool at their disposal at every turn is asking for the Dems to start a civil war????
If you want the elected Democrats to start a civil war, just say so. Be honest about it.

Stop demanding they "do something" that will not actually do anything and be honest about what you want.

They’ve slowed down, dragged their feet, gummed up the process? At EVERY turn? Have they?
What do you think are the odds that this guy knows they’ve already done it?

Yeah, and they'll all just buy the dip and come out richer on the other side—however long that takes.

The system is set up so that they can never lose—that's what the rest of us are for.

A. It wasn’t a filibuster

B. You can’t filibuster a confirmation

C. The most Dems are able to do without at least 4 Republicans is to delay the confirmations about 18 hours

With longstanding respect, mental illness does not make people fascists, transphobes, racists, misogynists, or MAGA.

Pinning this on mental illness would only further stigmatize those with mental illness—who already suffer disproportionately under fascism.

This thread is over a month old. They have told us, for years and in no uncertain terms, what their plans are. And we ignored them to our own peril.
Hi, hello. In order to grasp the significance of Trump crowning himself a King, you have to understand that he is literally carrying out a plan crafted by Curtis Yarvin, a right wing extremist, to overthrow democracy and replace it with dictatorial rule by a monarch-CEO.

Why crash the economy? CONTROL.

Yarvin: "No, this is not the right way to run the whole economy permanently... But.. it is the right way to reboot the economy. Flattening the financial system this way makes it much easier to control crime, of course—and also, any kind of antigovernment activity."

On Yarvin's intent to crash the dollar: "If you have paper money, bring it to a bank this week. Next week, it is just paper.
Whatever you had, you have dollars in the Fed. And the Fed owns all financial assets. Your house is sold to the Fed at the Zillow price. Your mortgage is now rent."

This is why we don't have "years" to respond. Yarvin's end-game is to capture and dismantle educational institutions WITHIN MONTHS of the inauguration.

If we take Yarvin seriously, and we should, the current DEI-blitz is just a cover for an attempt to literally capture and destroy ALL educational institutions except for "a few laboratories", which means that trying to fire a few "DEI" employees or change the names of offices WILL NOT BE EFFECTIVE.

Yarvin on destroying education: "Apart from a few.. laboratories in..chemistry, medicine and biology, mathematics, materials science... none of the educational establishment, from kindergarten to grad school, needs to be preserved. Even the brand names of the institutions can be cancelled."

Y’all are doing so much work for the admin by attempting to distinguish one innocent amongst a mass deportation. They were all innocent under the law, they were all denied due process, the outrage should be equitable towards every illegally deported individual or it’s trash.
#maddow @aclu.org

I don't understand. You just CANNOT put an innocent person in prison for life with no recourse.

Isn't there someone at the US consulate in El Salvador who cann work a deal? What if we threaten to STOP paying for/sending prisoners unless something is done?
