Pretty crazy someone can be charged federally with interfering in an election and those charges get dropped because they win an election.

There’s a narrative that Gaetz was a deliberate head-fake — a distraction to boost the real candidate — but I am always suspicious of narratives that attribute four-dimensional chess to trump as opposed to knocking over the table and eating the checkers.

Truth be told, it does seem kind of silly to have the FBI do background checks on presidential appointees when the president is a convicted criminal and an adjudicated digital rapist.

ideally, you want the President of the United States, an adjudicated rapist and a convicted felon to be three different people

Wait. It just occurred to me. The push by a ton of MAGA folks in the Missouri v. Biden case (including the district court ruling) was that effectively NO White House official could talk to any social media company without violating the First Amendment.

Yet now Elon Musk will be a WH official.
