I’ve seen so many people spreading the misinformation that PBS is shut down or is shutting down.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has been shut down and PBS has been defunded.

HOWEVER!!! PBS still exists. It is more important now than ever that you donate to PBS if you can.

BIG UPDATE: The new changes in the Senate version of BBB that will cut funding for Medicaid do not apply to Medicaid non-expansion states, per sources familiar.
In those 10 states (WI, WY, KS, TX, TN, MS, AL, GA, SC, FL), provider taxes and state-directed payments will be frozen at current levels.

ProPublica’s investigative reporters rely on a careful playbook for finding waste, fraud and abuse within government agencies.

It bears little resemblance to the approach deployed by DOGE against the Social Security Administration or USAID.

The United States of America is the only major country on earth that does not guarantee health care as a human right.

The result: We rank dead last among wealthy nations in life expectancy.

We must end that international embarrassment.

Yes. We need Medicare for All.
