Having not read this piece, I'm going to say a lot of centrists, who are pissing all over bluesky, don't want to leave the other place because they'd rather be among right-wingers than risk having to listen to the left.

Also, like GCs, it gives them the illusion of fighting for something.

I wrote this a few years ago about coming to terms with who I am. So much energy spent fighting it to make others happy, and all it did was make me miserable.
