I am here to guide you to live a life that you love.
We all make mistakes. We all have days or weeks or even months where we aren’t at our best. That’s okay. Accept the reality of it, give yourself time to regroup, and decide how to move forward.

Last, figure out and rehearse a different response. When this situation comes up, what specifically will you do differently? Find an answer, and start practicing before it happens. Visualize yourself in that situation, and picture yourself responding the right way this time.

Second, identify where the mistake started. What triggered the unproductive state you find yourself in? Recognize it, and you can plan for it. Because it will happen again.

First, forgive yourself. You’re not perfect, and you shouldn’t expect yourself to be. Being harsh with yourself will NOT help you do better. It’ll only make it harder.

It’s not our struggles that determine our level of success. It’s our ability to respond appropriately to the obstacles we face.

These three steps will help you move through your slump and get back on track.

Being humble is a good thing. Being hard on yourself is not.

Go out of your way to identify what you’re doing right. And celebrate every win. Especially the small ones. Because that’s where happiness comes from. Don’t put off being happy.

Learn to be happy just to be alive. Breathe in, and be grateful that you have the ability to breathe in. Because one day you won’t. Don’t take that for granted.

But don’t forget that pleasure doesn’t equate to happiness. It might be fun, but it’s fleeting. After the pleasure passes, you’re left only with yourself. If you aren’t able to find happiness inside yourself, nothing else will ever be enough.

What if your life was drastically different 90 days from now? That’s plenty of time to see results in almost any area of your life. So if you’re not happy now, this is your chance to change. How do you want to feel in 90 days? And what are you willing to do to get there?

If you don’t feel good about yourself, about your body, or your job, or any other aspect of your life, this is your chance to do something different. Make different choices.

So, whether you feel good or bad today, it’s your choices that have gotten you here. Take a moment to ask yourself if you’re happy with your results.

Are you?

Because your life was already decided, by you. By the choices you’ve been making.

Alternatively, if you tell yourself that everything can and will work out, what kind of state will you be in?

Change your state, and everything else gets a whole lot easier to figure out.

So take responsibility. And then take action. Because that’s the only way to guarantee that things will get better.

Taking responsibility for everything in your life puts YOU in the driver’s seat. Deciding that YOU are the one who’s going to solve this problem is the single most empowering thing you can do.

Because once you’re fully committed to doing what you have to do, figuring out HOW will follow.

It’s not your fault that it’s raining, but you’re responsible for keeping yourself dry.

It’s not your fault that your boss treats you unfairly, but you are responsible for figuring out how to deal with the situation.

Most people immediately turn to blaming and complaining. The problem with this: not only are you going through something hard, but now you’re telling yourself that you’re powerless to change it. And that’s not true.

The truth is, being at fault is not a prerequisite for being responsible.
