At the risk of sounding like PETA, i don't think restaurants should use animal mascots (pigs, cows, etc). All it does is remind me that something died to make the food and then i lose my appetite.

I've said it before but some people heard "no ethical consumption under capitalism" as "i can buy whatever i want without guilt" instead of "i should try my best to minimize damage related to my purchases."

I like "unhinged" as an insult because it gets across that something is extremely abnormal without stigmatizing mental illness.
I also imagine a screen door (with a single hinge) flailing around in a hurricane when i use it, so that's a huge plus.

I'm glad that they're getting consequences, but i ditched Duolingo when they laid off their translator staff for AI like 2 YEARS AGO and no one would quit with me.
I even did the work and found Busuu as a good alternative and i still couldn't get people to switch.
It's just frustrating, man...
