It’s funny that Denzel Washington was in Gladiator 2 because he really should’ve won the Academy award for The Hurricane but lost out somehow to the original Gladiator. Then they gave it to him for Training Day, which was fine, but it wasn’t his best work, almost to say “mea culpa”.
