Meet Olive. She understands conversations (ie, I make noise, someone else makes noise, so then she makes noise), and also does high-fives for pats, which in hindsight is why she paws at my butt when I’m cooking dinner and she wants attention and/or some of the dinner. She’s also my company logo.

We’ve often joked about our kitten Jaffa having “little hands” since she scoops biscuits into her mouth with them. Tonight she opened the box of pouches, pulled one out, opened that, and ate it all. I swear if we didn’t get her fixed within three or four generations there’d be opposable cat thumbs
