The Tick Dog. A creature in The Other Happy Place #theotherhappyplace
A grotesque abomination of a creature that appears to be the hybrid of a tick and a dog. Wrinkled plated flesh, what appear to be eyeless sockets. A tube for a mouth, each foot ending in a single large talon. An entirely unwholesome looking creature The same illustration as previous but now annotated with biological facts about the tick dog. 1. Throat is inverted and now a biting suction tube. 2. Floppy ears emphasize that this is supposed to be a dog. Familiarity making it more upsetting 3. Leathery texture leather plates 4.empty eye socket. Eye is not there. Covered over with skin 5. Actual eye is down here based on real ticks the eye is further from the mouth so it is not blinded while it eats 6. Stomach inflates and engorges when filled with blood. Like a large water balloon A grotesque abomination of a creature that appears to be the hybrid of a tick and a dog. Wrinkled plated flesh, what appear to be eyeless sockets. A tube for a mouth, each foot ending in a single large talon. An entirely unwholesome looking creature. It is descending a staircase towards the viewer blood dripping down its snout and legs
