The funniest, loveliest movie mischief maker with a laugh like a melodic bell. Catherine O'Hara had such an exuberant energy & an embrace of twinkle-eyed chaos that could have caused her characters to float away. Still, she kept them tethered to earth in the most delightfully surprising ways. #RIP

If the brilliant Catherine O'Hara's passing doesn't prompt all-powerful Netflix to finally pony up the ca$h for the complete SCTV (and its reportedly pricey music rights), then I'm cancelling my subscription.

Glad some people got around to watching Looking For Mr. Goodbar yesterday in honour of Diane Keaton. RETVRN to when a deeply dark, depressing (and angrifying) movie could be a box office smash (in 1977, when this was still possible). Keaton nails the difficult and complex part.
