Thanks to 20 volunteers joining us this morning at Elk Meadow to remove barbed wire fencing to protect elk, deer, & other wildlife. The project is led by Wild Aware with Jeffco Open Space and CDOT. Studies show barbed wire is harmful — even lethal — to wildlife & can disrupt migration patterns.
