People should realize the Parrots are not pets, like cats and dogs. They have not been domesticated over thousands of years. They are animals that are able to live with humans. And if there is not other parrot in your household, they see you as their mate.

I am not sure if this was intended or not, but this is a great metaphor to not be overly self critical an any circumstance. It pairs very well with this: bsky.app/profile/thed...
I recently read somewhere "Don't torture yourself with your thoughts, it's a horrible way to live." and I think that really resonated with me as somebody who gets trapped in anxious thought spirals. I am learning to be kinder to myself, it takes practice. Maybe you could also use a reminder ❤️

Hell, I live in Michigan, and have seen plenty. There is currently a Sports Bar just off I 94 that has a clock with a confederate flag on it's face in the kitchen. You can see it depending on where you are sitting.

I also don't think the blame should fall entirely on some 20 year old, sucked into this situation by the Fascist Regime and the current economic conditions, just trying to make some sort of living.

It's hilarious that think its's a problem, whether it is or not. Also, the fact it is a chat where they are basically calling each other gay like 10 year olds might do is pretty ironic.

Believe me, they were well aware of the risks. That is why Trump lost in 2020. But four years of a raising labor movement, awareness of a impending climate catastrophe, and the massive stakes of AI made the risks acceptable for them.

Not even the capitalist get the exact choice they want in this two party system. Just like everyone else, they end up choosing based on perceived harm reduction. The question is, why did they choose the way they did given the obvious dangers?

When I see this stuff written in a email "Importance High," it makes a stark statement on how different money can make people compared to factors like race, gender, sexual orientation, and gender expression as opposed to being part of the Rich Dick Society.
