Well, the list of books being banned from EPSB is appalling. And it's very likely that an author on this list will get their other works pulled too, especially in the absence of teacher librarians.

There are books on this list that changed my life. This is what the UCP is taking away from kids.

law enforcement officials say they made a proactive check at Rep. Hortman's home after a lawmaker who lived nearby was shot and found a "police vehicle in the driveway with emergency lights and what appeared to be a police officer at the door coming out of the house." He was actually the gunman.

This is good messaging from a senior Democrat, and it's rare so I want to call it out. Direct language, no hedging.

Call a spade a spade and people will respect you. Make excuses for the bullies, and we won't. Simple as.
This is a lie. We all saw the video. The Senator clearly identified himself, and he did not "lunge" toward anyone.
