Osama has social media in Gaza that predates the war, many unique photos and is #146 on the Gaza Vetters list docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

Like most people in Gaza he wants to be able to support himself but he needs to be able to rebuild his office first. He really wants to restart his life ❤️

they think they can just erase trans joy and trans freedom. they can't. they can make things a lot harder and more painful. but that joy and that freedom is not theirs to take and it is incumbent on all good people to say so.

I LOVED the way the show expanded Gura’s character from the books, and this piece delves into all the reasons why.

Just finished a big road trip. It’s surreal after having such a wonderful time and seeing so many beautiful things, being able to identify huge plumes of wildfire smoke from miles away on the last leg of the trip.

This was a very cute sapphic, cozy fantasy adventure!

I’m a bit miffed at how abrupt the ending felt (I definitely lost track of how long I’d been listening), but I guess it was effective because I immediately went, “wait what? No! I need more!”

Catching up on last week’s book reviews, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t call out this one in particular.

I wanted to read at least one memoir for Disability Pride month, so I read “Sipping Dom Pérignon Through a Straw” by Eddie Ndopu.

I’ve been sitting on a Bookshop gift card from Christmas, and right as I was getting antsy about using it before I forgot, what do I see?

This book sounds INCREDIBLE, and I am so excited to have it to look forward to next year.
If you like Langston Hughes, specifically, then you already know.

If you like poetry, this book is for you. If you like hip-hop, this book is for you. If you like the stars, this book is for you.

If you like #StarTrek, this book is for you.

And if you want to know why you should preorder:

Hey if folks could stop adding addendums 30 seconds after I submit a bid proposal, that’d be super cool.

What a sobering fact.
People with disabilities are failed by the criminal legal system time & time again.

After disproportionate contact with law enforcement, unaccommodating courts, and unequipped jails, thousands with disabilities are locked up in state prisons on a given day.

We have not had free and fair elections in this country. We have always had some people who had to vote on extremely hard mode in some places of this country.

Expecting people to wait in line 9 hours *is* a form of poll tax.

I keep seeing people say things like, “Well we’re not going to HAVE elections,” and with all due respect, I think this is both wildly pessimistic and also wildly naive.

We are not going to have free and fair elections. We also have not had them in the past.

Finally caught up on my book reviews. I’ve read over 100 books so far this year, which is cool or whatever I guess, but MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY I have written (sometimes short) (often useless) reviews for every. single. one!

THAT is my true accomplishment.

I don’t have any money to spare right now, but I’m hoping what little reach I have might land in front of someone who does.

About to finish my 100th book so far this year! And while I’ve fallen a bit behind on writing reviews for them (basically did none at all in May), I’ve only got a dozen until I’m caught up.

BTW, if you took part in Tesla Takedown in any capacity, you forced a major Tesla investor to go on TV and tell Musk to either step down as CEO, or leave his "job" at the White House, due to plunging stock losses.

I created what I call my Budget Gamer Hard Mode rules to help limit my video game spending and encourage me to play the games I already own. One of the rules is I pick up to 5 games at the start of the year I can preorder/buy full price. This year I picked 3.
