I like that you digitally tone your traditional inks! I just started doing this with my life drawing sketches and it's fun to give them a second life (away from the hourglass).

They're both great, but I like the 2023 composition better even though I usually prefer less text too.

Nice! Screentones are a lot of fun, especially in CSP.

Thank you for the super helpful advice and guide! It looks like I should live with greyscale on mobile, and then revisit the tones in their full glory just for print. I’m impressed with how they look even from my crappy Officeworks printer (which might be as far as it ever gets).

If you're looking to resize for mobile viewing, converting it to greyscale is normal.

Incremental scaling into 85% of the original size till you get to your target size is how people once did it.

You can also tone in greyscale, resize, and then convert to dot tone using this ClipStudio function.

Do you have any advice on sizing for mobile devices? I tried working at 600dpi and then exporting at 1080x1350 px, but it always seems to introduce moire. I ended up just converting to grey …

To make up for it, I have ideas for two comics that have no humans at all. Just ideas at this stage.

But three of them are older versions of the other three, which seems to be a thing I like to do now (the previous comic had five versions of the same character).

The next comic has six characters for only eight pages, which is not very efficient.
