For the first time in my life, I am currently teaching social studies courses, and I'm honestly struggling with some very basic aspects of curriculum. Definitions of democracy and what the defining components of democratic government are just seem... weird right now.

It's a very moving song. Very literary. A dramatized scene. The line that always moved me was "I'll get down on my knees and scrub behind the steam table."
