When you can’t defend your business model or practices you attack the victim, their family, and apparently anyone that had contact with them. Silicon Valley only cares about extracting as much $$$ as they can.
“The chatbot tells you to kill yourself because you violated the TOS” is fucking diabolical.

Why does this company exist.

Yes Larry Summers is rightly denounced for his Epstein ultra-creepitude and being a stupid sexist bastard in his academic positions, but he doesn't get enough denunciation for being a scheming deregulatory asshole who buddied with Wall Street to fuck up not only our economy but that of the world.
The latest cache of Epstein emails have finally brought down Summers. But setting aside Larry the Lecher, this is the moment to reveal how he used his power not just to abuse women but to abuse the planet. His victims number in the millions. No kidding! #EpsteinFiles #LarrySummers
Larry Summers, Epstein and the “End Game” Memo
Forgive me, but I have to send a little thank you to Jeffrey Epstein. The latest cache of the predator’s memos have finally brought down Lawrence Summers.

Steve Pearce, Trump's nominee to lead the BLM, might be the single biggest threat Western public lands have ever seen.

He's long been obsessed with selling off our natural heritage & urged local governments to take control of federally protected public lands.

We must stop him.

This frees up Big Tech to move from lobbying states to lift all AI regulations to punishing any lawmaker who dares to try and stop them:

In states that ban abortion, patients with chronic conditions and other high-risk pregnancies often have nowhere to turn.
They enter pregnancy sick and are expected to get sicker. Yet lawmakers who wrote the bans have refused to create exceptions for health risks. www.propublica.org/article/texa...

Two murderous dictators pat each other on the back, laugh and all the billionaires applaud. What a country.
November 19, 2025 at 9:06 PM
No amount of charity Jensen Huang and his foundation does will be able to remove the stain left by his business deals and dining at a state dinner to honor a murderous dictator. Silicon Valley's tech CEOs have no shame.
November 19, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Tim Cook was there, but for a guy that long pretended to care about human rights, that had posters of Kennedy and MLK on his office wall, it's infuriating. There is absolutely no business case for attending a state dinner honoring a murderous dictator.
everlasting shame on all these people
November 19, 2025 at 7:32 PM
I wouldn't doubt that every single one of these billionaires would pay to have someone bone sawed if they got in their way. Also at the dinner was the CEO of Nvidia Jensen Huang. $$$ trumps everything for these people.
Elon Musk is at the White House for the private dinner for the Saudi Crown Prince.

How Silicon Valley embraced monopoly and fascism. When I moved here 28 years ago I read Cyberselfish as I saw initial stages of what was happening in big tech and its acceleration into power without accountability.
We had Tim Wu on the podcast to talk about his new book The Age of Extraction, whether the degradation of Big Tech was fated or not, and why the incipient idealism about the Internet ended up being so wrong. Great conversation, listen in!
