Writer, potter, clerk. Canuck. She/her. Cis but knows trans women are women.

Where there is tea, there is hope.
I don't argue about it most of the time (close enough for jazz and all), but I pointed it out to a "there's only XX and XY" transphobe as *another* example of science being more complex than we get told in grade school and I swear he Could Not Understand I *wasn't* claiming the Earth is flat...

(I mean if I hadn't looked it up in utter bafflement two years ago I wouldn't have burst out laughing today, so maybe it was worth it? But still.)

It's an internet meme I genuinely think you have to be Sooooooo deep into internet tery to get that it shames me. I am a child of the internet and I had to learn it via Know Your Meme and I still don't wholly get why it's a thing.

A wee bit different from "I took one class in high school", though?

Lotta people these days support UBI, a progressive notion, who are absolutely not progressives. Elon Musk having that one notion in the right-ish direction doesn't make him even arguably progressive.

I think it was further along in filming. I haven't been able to bring myself to watch.

Sounds like a headache but it does look like it didn't delete the actual emails, just the feature that sorts them? Am I correct?

(That's bad enough, like 100% asshole move, but the alternative would surely get them sued.)

You still can, it's harder but it's still there and you will outlast this.

Image made by AI? Then you would be literally correct, it hasn't seen light.

Spread thin enough to fold into a taco, I can see it.

Sadly, this.

They know that even if employees start looking yesterday for a way to get the fuck outta there, they'll have them around for months if not years before that happens. The employees could try and push back collectively (you don't need a union to do so, it just helps) but chances are slim.

Dead Boy Detectives was a victim of Neil Gaiman, though, not LGBTQ2IA rep.

The reaction to this is kind of making me want to read the book now. But not really see the movie.

A new The Last Airbender? Cool! (I know, I know, but it seemed funny to me that TLA is itself a duplicate.)

... the birds aren't the upsetting part, I think.

There's a huge difference, one is much more pardonable than the other. I just find them on the same line; the dose makes the poison.

Well, the commentary is yours, and otherwise excellent.

I'm just coming at this from the angle of being someone who told my best friend, "I will love you forever AS LONG AS YOU NEVER CALL ME 'NORA' AGAIN" and having a child who had a meltdown when her brother just threatened to use her deadname.

Where even the good guys had some issues respecting boundaries that weren't in the books and I thought I recalled you criticizing.

I'm liking your commentary very much, but I'm fairly sure Murderbot would not love being called Seccy... (or Gurathin Gugu)
