I only post a handful now, to close family and friends who live away. Family who live nearby and we see regularly don’t get cards - I stopped this years ago as I didn’t get why we did it!

Incidentally, not picking on this piece, but for some reason constructions like this entered Labour's comms a quarter of a century or so ago:

"A sound investment in Britain’s future.'

It's just a string of "words I want you to hear" and so the reader/listener doesn't then hear them.
