Incidentally, not picking on this piece, but for some reason constructions like this entered Labour's comms a quarter of a century or so ago:

"A sound investment in Britain’s future.'

It's just a string of "words I want you to hear" and so the reader/listener doesn't then hear them.

See also: why is it acceptable to take your dog to the pub of an evening and let it bark squeal and fart? Children rightly barred! Get the dogs out too! (PS “don’t go to the pub near Christmas in zone one and two” season gets earlier every year)
Haven't left the house for two days due to sick child and mad stressed with work, so was v grateful to be able to head to the forest for half an hour. As ever, mental health benefits dented by big / scary looking / staring at me like I am ham / barking dogs off leads with blasé, selfish owners.
