Better than my attempt at an explainer of the obscenity of the existence of billionaires: £1 billion = spending capacity of £1 million a month for a lifetime (not taking into account return from any investments).

After today's Sunday Mirror exposé about Ryan Bridge, Simon Murphy is unsurprisingly being attacked by Raise the Colours who accuse him of "talking shi*t about our movement". Thank you to Simon for exposing these people for who they really are.

Nearly every panel I spoke on this year ended with the same question: "What gives you hope?"

My friends, that question expired years ago. (If you need receipts, my book Saving Us is literally a 300-page answer.)

The real question is: How are you PRACTICING hope?

Just to be clear, politicians have engineered a situation whereby the NHS is in crisis and people are so scared and angry that many no longer feel empathy for the doctors tasked with holding the service together.

Doctors are not the problem. Politicians are the problem. 💙🚨

❌ No, a planned update to Meta's privacy policy won't give it permission to read all DMs sent by its users and use the data to train its generative AI. Here's the truth about what the update will really do:
Will Meta's planned policy update let it read users' DMs starting December 2025?
Meta's update to its privacy policy will change what it does with data it already collects from interactions with Meta AI.

We're worried the door to NHS privatisation is opening wider through new PFI‑style deals.

This isn’t “support”, it’s a risk to the very fabric of the NHS.

Help us stop this before the autumn budget sets the path.

Yet another record breaking storm supersized by a warming world 😢

Climate change doesn’t create these storms: it makes them worse. They intensify faster, reach higher strengths and dump more rain.

That’s why climate action isn’t just about saving the planet: it’s quite literally about saving US.

This is what we should be prioritizing, sol'ns with the greatest number of wins for people + the planet together.
