I’m disgusted that Adani bought coal below market rate, dudded us of $400m in royalties, and then sold it for a profit.

The fact countries/companies can be a middle man for our resources is reason to dismantle the whole corrupt fossil fuel system.

My town just installed fantastic path lighting that, not only is it pointed down, but it's fairly dim until movement approaches, then it brightens the immediate area until you move out of range. They're also solar.

My city is in the middle of a swap from the old yellow street lamps to new LED ones and wow it's so wild how much less light is being put into places that aren't the street. Not just the sky but also the places off the street like adjacent yards and houses. So much better.

Anyone else noticed how Nazi rallies get the go-ahead fairly easily from state governments, then the horrified public reaction is weaponised to pass anti-protest laws, which are then used to quash anti-genocide dissent and justify police assaults on small brown women? You picking up on this, too??

Why do successive governments pick on welfare recipients? Over the years the system has become tighter than a whale’s arse at 50 fathoms and now the “no one left behind” Labor government wants to stop welfare to people who are SUSPECTED of a crime by the ever trustworthy (not) police for Dogs sake.
