Netflix’s Building the Band was cute, but felt half-asses and rushed. With network competition shows like American Idol & the Voice becoming more than a little stale, streamers have an opportunity to take over, but if they want to stay relevant for more than a few weeks they need to do more.

Why in romance novels do men never wear underwear? Why is it a trope that going commando is manly? It grosses me out every time I read it. Like you know he isn’t washing those jeans after each wear, and now you’re telling me his dirty sweaty ass is rubbing against the denim bare? How is that sexy? 🤢

I used to love to go to concerts or plays or the ballet, etc- but now it’s so damn expensive. I used to be able to get tickets for most things for less than 50$, now tickets are easily 3x that for off day, nose bleed seats. How does anyone afford to do things anymore?

Every time I see someone claiming “depopulation” (as in lower birth rates) is an existential crisis, it makes me want to pull my hair out. With flat-earthers it’s easy to roll my eyes and ignore them as idiots, but many of the depop people are educated, how can they fall for something so stupid?!!!

Reading a book that is such a blatant rip off of another book I’m surprised the author hasn’t been sued. But it’s also so much better than the original I can’t help but hope it doesn’t get taken down.

Oatmeal Raisin cookies have some kind of cloaking spell on them I swear. They always sound so meh, and I’d pick almost any other cookie on the dessert table first. But when you finally do bite into one you remember how delicious they are, then the second you finish you immediately forget again.

I am crying laughing!! A raccoon walked into the kitchen, saw me & took off. I followed him to the dog door to make sure he went all the way out, but there were 2 of them & they both tried to dive through at the same time and got stuck. They had to wiggle their not so little butts to get out. 🤣🤣
