Am I the only one who pronounces this word differently based on how it’s used? For me you cause “miss-chuh-viss” when you’re being “mis-cheev-ee-is”.
A buzz feed question asking how you pronounce mischievous. The options are “miss-chuh-viss”, “miss-cheevus”, “miss-cheev-ee-is” or other.

I’m starting to think some of these directors use the same method to cast their films that Kindergarten teachers use to pick which kid gets to go first- drawing popsicle sticks with names out of a can.
