built a chrome extension that lets you virtually try on clothes w/ AI

giving away all the code so you can build your own (or even productize it).

Pro tip if "engaging on LinkedIn" makes you want to hurl 🤢:
Use the 3 Cs!

- Commiseration ("Whew, been there before")
- Congratulation (Amazing work!")
- Curiosity ("What makes you say that?")

(Don't worry, it'll start to feel natural after a while and no one will know you're not a Real Boy)

alright, upped my game today and built an MCP server to build outreach lists.

Then I have another tool (same server) to enrich the data with Linkedin profiles so I can direct outreach to these people.

I built an MCP server to get Linkedin profiles from email address?
Why?
Because as soon as someone signs up for your site you should be connecting with them on Linkedin!

(and mostly b/c it was fun)

Last month, I shut down the business I spent 3 years building.

The entrepreneurship journey has been quite exciting—from winning six-figure deals to raising money to breaking up with a cofounder, I've experienced it all.

Not sure what's next, but I'm confident I'll be starting something new soon!

the most interesting thing about telling the truth behind my startup journey on Startups for the Rest of Us is that people who appear incredibly successful online are coming out of the woodwork to tell me how much they are struggling.

Have you heard that Linkedin is the place to be but don't know how to get started?

Quick tip -> let your Linkedin header tell your story.

Don't forget to repurpose that content you spent ages on bruh.

🔹 5 tweets/skeets (opinion, education, proof)
🔹 3-5 key points → LinkedIn carousel
🔹 Excerpt → newsletter
🔹 Summarized → podcast pitch
(pssst this is literally what we teach you how to do at saasmarketinggym.com)

🤔 LinkedIn tip for SaaS founders:

Before creating content, connect with your existing customers (b/c they're guaranteed to be your ICP).

1. Export customer emails
2. Enrich to find LinkedIn profiles
3. Send connection requests

If you're not listening to my series on Tiny Seed Tales you should go back to the beginning and listen!

low key obsessed with inertiajs + Rails + React.

I built this Notion like UI in a day (and I don't know React or Typescript).

Not even sure if I'm doing it right (am I supposed to redirect to the parent page if I'm just updating a component??) but it just works ™️

what's your favorite membership platform?

our situation is a little weird b/c we don't offer courses, we offered personalized plans for each member + daily calls + monthly calls + shared resources

I think communities are the worst.

Incentives aren't aligned. To make $$$ the creator must grow it, but big groups kill community.

All that to say - we didn't intend to create a "community" with saasmarketinggym.com but it has become one of the best and most fun groups I've ever been a part of.

Just scheduled out 10 days worth of content (with videos).
Descript -> clips -> spreadsheet -> Recurpost.

Much easier than trying to remember to do a post a day.

(psssst....these are the kind of processes we teach in saasmarketinggym.com)

unprompted testimonial for @saasmarketinggym.bsky.social

we're signing up our next group of founders - DM me for an invite to the (no pressure) open house Monday to get all your questions answered!
As a solo founder I need marketing to grow my business, but I tackled marketing like code, and worried about every detail and edge case. I was stalled. The #SaasMarketingGym (from @punchlinecopy.com and @leenyburger.bsky.social) has given me wings, and I now feel free to be myself & make progress.
