This is excellent.
I think clocks on setpieces would make a difference (because it would be more physically demanding to send the centre backs up if you had 8 seconds to take a throw-in) but so would actually applying the existing rules and not resetting the "grammar" of throws 40 yards from goal.

No room for racism of any sort in any walk of like, especially football, but I liked the new protocol of stopping the game. It forces discussion and stops things being brushed under the carpet. Hopefully something positive can come out of a horrible situation. #lfc #noroomforracism

Still can’t get my head around the events of last week and the unfair loss of two young men in their prime. Football feels irrelevant but i hope that the current squad are kept, supported and given the chance to honour Diogo. Shut the doors and go again for Diogo and Andre. #lfc
