As a library worker for 12 years, yes! Definitely show up to meetings and make your voice heard, it's more powerful than you think.
Just a reminder to support your local public libraries! Write letters of support. Use the library often & in many different ways. Show up to meetings.
Library staff have been begging for help, advocacy, and action for years. Please show up for libraries.

It'll take me a bit to get used to being on social media again, but with the recent election and never using the bird app, I figure I need to reconnect here instead.
