Lots of poorly-painted crosses.
Because nothing says "I love my country" quite as much as vandalism.
The racist fuckwads must be so relieved their flag is a simple red cross. Imagine if they had to use more than 1 colour! So confusing!
Luckily for them "UK" is easy to spell, too.
Some sort of concrete cylinder, maybe 3 feet high, in a rough patch of greenery. It's probably a cross-section from a tunnel, or something. Who knows? Someone has painted a red cross on it. Presumably it's supposed to be the England flag, but it's so badly done that it just looks like someone has marked it for demolition. Most people would be able to paint this in a matter of seconds, but you can imagine the dumb racists taking loads of time with it, tongue sticking out the side of their bigoted mouths. A disused red brick building. The windows have metal grids over them. Someone has daubed BRITISH! in red paint on the side of the building. Honestly, it's fairly impressive they've spelled it correctly. Racists aren't always the brightest. Two telecoms cabinets in the street. A red cross has been scrawled on each one. The one of the left has a relatively small cross. The ends of the lines making up the cross don't reach the edges of the cabinet doors. The one on the right has a much larger cross. Consistency evidently not a trait enjoyed by the idiots who painted these. The cross on the left has a line going across that's not horizontal. Instead it goes up a bit right at the start, then heads on a slightly downward path the further right it goes. It looks as much like a poorly-drawn Prince symbol as a poorly-drawn cross. Honestly, the amount of pride these cockwombles claim to have in their flag you'd think they'd take more care in recreating it. A disused brick building with windows that are covered by a metal sheet and a metal grid. Three pieces of graffiti on this one: The one on the far rights is a generic red cross. No outer border to show that the brain-dead half-wit who painted this intended it to be a representation of the English flag. The graffiti in the centre is another scrawled red cross underneath the letters FFU. The first suggestion that Google has for me for this acronym is "Fan Filter Unit", which leads me to suspect the perpetrator of this vandalism works for an air conditioning manufacturer and he's had a bad day on the fan filter production line, poor lamb. The vandalism on the left is a bit odd. A square painted in red paint with a red cross with lines going from top to bottom and left to right roughly centrally. It's evidently intended to be the flag of St George, but it just looks like the cells A1-B2 in a spreadsheet. Cell A1 holds the letter U. Cell B1 holds the letter K. Call A2 says "ON". B2 says "LY". UK ONLY. Ohhhhh! It's a poor attempt to signal the vandal's racist tendencies. A three-year old could do better. (Artistically, I mean. I don't know of many three year-old racists.)

Behold! Half of my cats! Overhead view of my lap, on which sit (clockwise from the top): ~ Rafferty, a chunky ragdoll/tiffany cross cat. His left ear is slightly mangled due to a previous illness. He's a good boy and frightened of nothing (except plastic bags, which terrify him, the silly sod). ~ Beatrix, a bengal cat. The cleverest cat I have ever known - I sometimes go to her for advice. Loving and fast. ~ Daisy, another ragdoll/tiffany, and the oldest of our 6 cats. She still has energy and love to give, but she's worryingly old. All three are perched precariously because they're stubborn, and I love them all, dearly, even when they're not physically weighing me down.

I just received a rather wonderful Murderbot print by the exceptionally-talented @tommyarnoldart.com. It's part of a limited edition run (only 70) and I can't wait to find a good spot for it on my office wall.

A variation on the classic meme of Homer Simpson disappearing backwards through a hedge. This time, Homer has been replaced with Murderbot over 4 panels. The last panel, where most of Murderbot is hidden inside the hedge, is text reading, "Should have downloaded more shows". The individual words in the text are all capitalised for some reason, and this annoys me more than it should, though the meme itself is amusing.

Yesterday we had lots of snow and snowmen, the it rained all through the night.
