...it takes an unnecessarily long time to get going, the ending is a bit of a mess, and there's a lot of semi-developed ideas in the middle - I suspect either multiple draft syndrome or studio notes.

There's a LOT to like though, and it makes me want to reread the book 👍🏻

I always thought Ploog would be perfect for an adaptation of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON - he draws a mean werewolf, and he'd handle the comedy aspects well too I reckon...

...as soon as they set foot off the ramp. It was real Bloody Omaha stuff, terrifying and very real in my head, but gripping.

And I just realised what I was actually dreaming was probably more like a STRIKEFORCE MORITURI movie...

...a young, inexperienced, or low-powered team - and Batman was giving them the standard D-day "remember your training, don't bunch up, keep moving" speech - it was all very Saving Private Ryan and not very superhero-y.
The Javelin lands and a lot of these young superheroes were getting wiped out...
