I stayed up for Harmison’s in 2007. The anticipation was massive after 2005.

Not sure I saw the whole over before deciding to get some sleep…

I’ve written my first post on Substack. It’s about ‘meeting the needs of pupils with SEND’.

Any analysis of #LFC this season that doesn’t talk about the impact of losing Jota on the team shouldn’t be taken seriously. We can all be frustrated with them for losing matches, but the death of one of their mates in such utterly horrific circumstances looms large over every single performance.
New on Always Liverpool | Andy Robertson's moment, both beautiful and devastating, told us everything about how Liverpool's players are still coping with the loss of their dear Diogo. We haven't afforded them enough grace.

Meanwhile, on X - Grok is denying the Holocaust... and all our institutions and politicians and media giants just stay there like that's perfectly OK.

What does it take to get people to leave that horror show??? Seriously.

Those UK journalists backing Trump - a man who endorses the murder of a journalist because he’s ‘controversial’ - against the BBC need to see if they can find their moral compass
You know about Trump and Zelesnkyy’s call, but have you heard about the call between Trump and the Saudi Crown Prince?

Watch my statement below. Mr. President, release the transcript.

Absolutely love this. These lads can’t let us down this season because they’re doing us proud just by turning up every day.

Love this. And love that it’s a @teachfirst.bsky.social ambassador leading the call for the Trustee Adult Guarantee for young men @alistrathern.bsky.social 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Sports coaches are the most trusted adults for a quarter of boys, but they and other support staff often miss out on key opportunities for training and progression

On International Men's Day, let's commit to changing that, writes @alistrathern.bsky.social
Let's empower the sports coaches who help boys feel listened to
Sports coaches are trusted adults for boys outside of their families, but many lack the support they need to carry out this vital role.

This is Ben’s kidnap post.
Nobody ever tells you what a joy the morning routine is with small children. The calm routines. The soft bubble of hushed conversations over breakfast. The quiet satisfaction of packing the neatly completed homework in bags and at last the joy of last minute recorder practise.

And given Mahmood’s ‘we need to do this to stop the racists’ argument, they explicitly *do* want the approval of people like Robinson.
When a Labour government sees the approval of Tommy Robinson as more important that the approval of the Labour Party membership, things are probably going wrong
