SNAP has existed for 60 years. Benefits have gone out every single month over those six decades, including during government shutdowns. Until now.

Make no mistake: The money is available to fund SNAP during this shutdown. Trump is making a choice to withhold it.

Don’t forget this.

The federal judge in the Trump administration’s prosecution of James Comey, the former FBI director, on Wednesday blasted President Trump’s handpicked prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, for taking an “indict first, investigate later” approach to the case.
Judge Berates Justice Dept. in Its Prosecution of Comey
The flashpoint was the Justice Department’s failure to turn over seized communications from a confidant of Mr. Comey’s, Daniel C. Richman, a law professor at Columbia University.

Well now, would you look at that?

A massive, 26-YEAR-LONG study of MORE THAN 2.4 MILLION people in Sweden found found NO EVIDENCE to support a causal link between acetaminophen (the API in Tylenol) use during pregnancy and increased risk of autism, ADHD, OR intellectual disability in children.

Millions of Americans are already learning that their health insurance costs for 2026 are going way up.

I want to hear from you so we can make this impossible for the GOP to ignore the consequences of their policies.

If your premiums are going up, reply below and please share your story.

Mr. President: Don’t let kids go hungry. Use these emergency funds to feed low-income families.

We can’t let this happen.

And any Republican who refuses to renew health care subsidies for hardworking American families, saying we can’t afford it, needs to explain how they found $1 trillion in tax cuts to give away to the wealthiest people in America.

Will COVID-19 vaccines still be used in the future?

Seems like a strange question. Short answer: probably mostly in the elderly. But it’s more nuanced; it’s not primarily about preventing COVID-19 anymore.

Mike Johnson is running out of excuses for keeping the government shut down. Instead of doing his job, preserving affordable healthcare, or lowering costs for working families, he’s attacking millions of Americans who will peacefully protest to say that our country belongs to its people — not kings.
Mike Johnson: "We're so angry about it. I mean, I'm a very patient guy, but I've had it with these people. The theory we have right now -- they have a hate America rally that's scheduled for October 18 on the National Mall. It's the pro-Hamas wing and antifa people ... "

Which COVID-19 vaccine is best?

The answer is the one in your arm.

But confusion persists if KP.2 or LP.8.1 is better. The confusion is understandable. Too much chatter about variants and the term "immune evasion" incorrectly used.

Just to recap:
- There is no demonstrated benefit to the safety or effectiveness of MMR by giving it separately as single-virus vaccines
- Countries that have tried this have ended up with outbreaks of measles/mumps/rubella because it's harder for people to complete the series
