This is a fantastic series from our Harrisburg-based newspaper @pennlive.com
There’s a scarcity mindset in America, even though we’re among the wealthiest nations in the world. Appealing to empathy - stories about suffering due to Trump’s chaos and cruelty - won’t work. Make Americans understand what is being taken away from THEM. Focus on corruption.

One Vignette this week is free and linked in my bio and in subscriber inboxes! Inside are 3 links to great reads, a great, easy way to start to make change, and a user-friendly guide (okay, it’s a chart) to emotional regulation that feels useful right about now. Take good care, all.

This week in my essay newsletter One Vignette we talk about navigating life as a middle-aged wife and mother and trying to understand the concept of joy now. Also! I share recipes for all the warm and cozy meals: soups, stock, stew, and cocoa.

Finding an app that's fun, pretty & well, ethical, is like going from room to room at a crowded party trying to find that 1 good friend who said she'd be there. When you're an introvert. And it's past your bedtime. And they're only serving gin.
So here we go, Bluesky. It seems nice in here so far.
