How short our memories are.

Just a few years ago, nurses carried this country through a pandemic, and now they're suffering a 55% surge in racist abuse.

To every nurse: London stands with you. You are loved and valued, and always will be.

By integrating London’s skills, employment, health & careers services, Londoners will find it easier to:

1️⃣access the skills & support they need
2️⃣move into good jobs

This will increase employment rates & help those most disadvantaged by the current system.

Delighted that TfL, @londonambulance.nhs.uk and @london.gov.uk have donated 44 defibrillators to homeless shelters across the capital.

These won't just help vulnerable communities on site in an emergency, but also the staff and people in the surrounding communities. 🤝❤️
With the right equipment and knowledge, we can make London a city where everyone feels confident to step in and help during a cardiac arrest.

Our new funding will help the London Ambulance Service install 200 new defibrillators across 84 neighbourhoods without easy access to one currently.

Bold actions work 👏

Millions of Londoners are breathing cleaner air as a result.
I remember being told that it would take 193 years to reach legal limits for nitrogen dioxide.

I decided this was unacceptable.

Thanks to the bold policies we put in place, we've managed to do it in nine years - 184 years earlier than expected.
