We want two states, Israel and Palestine, living in peace.

We are not pro one side or anti the other. Both have just claims and both have done wrongs.

We must call it by its name, and we must condemn it unequivocally.

What is unfolding in Gaza is a genocide.

And the United Kingdom must do all it can to make Netanyahu stop.

By trying to bully nations out of recognising Palestine, Trump is making himself the biggest hurdle to a two-state solution and a lasting peace.

The UK must stand strong with Canada and our allies, we should recognise the Palestinian state right now. No more delays.

I’ve written to the Prime Minister urging him to use Trump’s visit to the UK to push for an end to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Great to see Ed and the Liberal Democrats leading the way on this.
With Trump boycotting this crucial UN summit on a two-state solution, Keir Starmer should go there himself and commit to recognising the Palestinian state.

This is Britain’s chance to lead on the world stage – to stop the horror in Gaza and help deliver a lasting peace.

The time for words is over - now we must act.

That should include the UK Government conducting a fresh set of aid airdrops over Gaza.

Mass starvation in Gaza and over 1,000 Palestinians killed while seeking aid since May. The government says the situation is intolerable yet they continue to tolerate it.

The UK needs to stop all arms exports to the Israeli Government - today.

Rula Daood, our national co-director, is a Palestinian who lives under the same system that dehumanizes and kills her people, and still, she stood tall in Tel Aviv and said what all of us need to be brave enough to say.

Listen to her:

David Lammy must realise that we’re past the point of threatening sanctions.

Every day the Government sits on its hands, more innocent civilians are being killed in Gaza while over a million are at risk of starvation.

Sanctions are needed now, including against Netanyahu.

Time and time again, the Prime Minister says the situation in Gaza is intolerable… but he keeps on tolerating it.

Palestinian statehood was literally in his own manifesto, so why won’t he recognise it now? I wonder if Donald Trump is stopping him.

The world is looking on in horror as Netanyahu's Government plots to lock Gaza's entire population into effectively a giant prison.

The Prime Minister should make it clear that the UK won't stand idly by, starting by sanctioning Netanyahu himself.

We welcome this move from the UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy. The settlers & linked organisations imperil Israel and are a block on achieving a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Palestinians.

"The actions of Netanyahu are causing outrage across the world."

"It's obvious that to actually get to peace, we need to recognise that the Palestinians have a right to statehood."
