“I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners”
I think that the position that he’s (Sam P) been put in is insane. Clearly not ready physically and now he’s in the spotlight in a way that’s going to ensure that big runners are going to seek him out over & over in every game for the foreseeable.

Max Deegan, Larmour, Clarkson, Gus McCarthy, Frawley etc would all be first teamers elsewhere

100% agree - think McMillan will improve him massively btw but that’s a 2yr project. The policy of funnelling 90% of the best young talent into one franchise is really starting to hurt now.

The Offer - Paramount+

Most underrated show of the last few years, immensely entertaining.

On the board, signed off the annual accounts, and was humble enough to allow the trust to be named after him. That’s three reasons why he should explain why he wasn’t paying more attention when taxpayers money was being squandered.

He was on the board so effectively in a similar position to ministers having to deal with civil servants.

I feel that the headline is missing “in a ludicrous statement”

It’s a massive gravy train over there though - incomparable to here. Bipartisan issue - Pelosi an incredible piece of work as an example

Personally think it’s too young. In our case both young FG leaders were long on rhetoric but brutally short on policy ideas / plans. You need more life experience in the art of getting sh1t done.

Our media has relentlessly demonised politicians and has all but encouraged abuse in public life. What person of calibre would go into politics now? It’s mostly dreamers or unskilled career climbers like Harris. That he has risen to the point he has is grimly depressing.
