You have to chuckle at this guff being peddled by Jim McGuinness when much of the problem he calls out was created by the man himself. Prior to the new rules he mandated his entire team to retreat behind the ball out of possession and then to run manically when in possession. Hilarious.

This is the type of Irish public health messaging that makes me despair. Does anyone really believe that this (Alcohol labelling) initiative will deliver anything close to the benefits promised? Meanwhile it will create a ton of unnecessary chaos for the industry and drive more cost to consumers 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

The bar is so, so low now. A merry go round of pubic sector execs going from high paying gig to high paying gig. Nothing working that especially well but sure no matter

Probably no more popular an amenity in Cork than the Marina Market. This is not untypical of the roads around it 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s not like the 10 issue is “new news” but it’s funny how it’s being framed in the Irish Rugby pundit / media set atm.

What’s more of a pressing concern is how and why the Port of Cork are allowed to preside over this stunning level of dereliction right in the bullseye of our City. This eyesore is one of the first things that greet visitors to Cork. Absolutely shameful.

There’s no doubt that the Leinster Academy is high functioning but it’s the “input” factor that is the real differentiator between the provinces. If you were to get an honest view of the spending differences in schools it would undoubtedly be vast.

Not a soviet example but this is the kind of thing that would send An Taisce to the madhouse

It’s kind of amazing how we’ve all just come to accept (in Ireland) the blatant price gouging that’s been going on for a few years now in the energy utility sector. The “rising gas prices” excuse doesn’t really hold up any more. 🤬

Listening to the VMTV rugby panel discussing this really feels like we’re through the looking glass in regard to analysis of the Irish rugby team. The Prendergast selection is like Ireland’s answer to Brexit - you must ignore your eyes, ears and believe!!

100% this. I remember this piece with Gilroy & Kimmage a few years ago when PK was sounding the alarm. Gilroy’s approach appears to have doubled down and off the ball is a total embarrassment now.

If I’m reading this correctly, RTE wanted Cork & Limerick to fix the throw in for their game to go up against the 2nd half of IrevEng in the 6N? As opposed to everyone being catered for with the 7:30 start. That’s a pretty big nugget to leave out of the article when RTE could clearly make it work.
