Also, there's a protest planned outside the NYC HQ of Jefferies, the bank helping Avelo try to raise more money, next Friday.

I can't be there, but hopefully others can show up.

Theocracy alert!

North Dakota lawmakers are openly pushing Christian nationalism, demanding everyone "acknowledge the Kingship of Jesus."

Religious freedom means freedom from religion, too.
So much for subtlety.

Republicans in North Dakota have filed a resolution that says everyone must “acknowledge the Kingship of Jesus Christ over all the world.”

Its sponsor? One of the most bigoted officials in the state.

5 most common misuses of “have” before verbs… I hear this EVERYWHERE now, even by reporters. 😑

have went (it's have GONE)
have ran (it's have RUN)
have saw (it's have SEEN)
have drove (it's have DRIVEN)
have drank (it's have DRUNK)

Also applies to would’ve/could’ve, had/has!

Thank you - let's never forget "or none." Too often religious freedom is couched terms of freedom to choose/worship but neglects to mention simply not choosing or not worshipping anything.
BREAKING: We and partners sent a letter urging Texas public school districts to reject a new curriculum that promotes Christianity — in violation of the First Amendment.

Students of all religious backgrounds, or none, deserve to feel safe and welcome in school. 🧵
