I detest Spotify’s platform. I’ll choose YouTube any day.
Spotify has laid off thousands in recent years, while reportedly paying artists $0.003 per stream.

Spotify profits rose 28% in Q3. Its CEO is worth $9.8 billion. It's making money off ICE recruitment ads.

Don't you think it's time put a wrap on corporate greed and exploitation?

Good trouble indeed!
This is my kind of good trouble.
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

IMHO, you can’t understand what’s happening to the US if u don’t know about the “network state” movement & its “parallel establishment” strategy, which includes building “parallel societies” (w/ their own physical territories) & “parallel institutions” in media, education, finance, science, etc. 1/

Excellent article.
How did Trump’s “shadow president” Russ Vought execute his vision of dismantling the government and putting bureaucrats “in trauma”?

Use your billions to run ads, billboards, all of it. Media blitz is required.
In any other country, if federal agents fired upon journalists when unprovoked — what would we call it?

If federal agents marched down streets demanding papers — what would we say?

Authoritarianism — let’s not pretend it’s something else when it happens in our American cities.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

Well said.
Too bad the GOP effectively criminalized studying how information moves online and news orgs laid off and demonized all the reporters who covered the burgeoning online accelerationist performative death cults. All of that work was somehow "censorship" that needed to be stopped. Now we're here.

Trump's call to release "pertinent" Epstein grand jury info represents only a portion of the evidence that would make up the so-called "Epstein files" — and it's the portion that has the most obstacles to release, given strict grand jury secrecy rules courts are reluctant to lift

A State Department employee shared with PBS News an image from inside the department. The image includes a piece of paper taped to a mirror with the words, "Colleagues, if you remain: RESIST FASCISM. Remember the oath you vowed to uphold."

America lost the plot. 20 years in the making to get this Supreme Court in place which began with Alito.
Today’s unsigned, unexplained #SCOTUS ruling clearing the way for removals of migrants to third countries without any additional process is a disaster—not just on the merits, but because of the government misbehavior that it not only refuses to punish, but effectively rewards.

Me, via “One First”:
161. The Court's Disastrous Ruling in the Third-Country Removal Case
The majority did not just greenlight an especially odious immigration policy without any explanation; it did so in a case in which the government defied the district court—twice—with no consequence.
