I'm sad to say that since leaving Twitter/X my sales for live shows have dropped quite a lot - it turns out that even though it's a dreadful place it was still useful for getting the word out about events. So any shares / RTs of my posts about live shows are hugely appreciated!

Succotash dinner last night with sautéed pancetta, Rancho Gordo Bean Club Large Lima Beans, Trader Joe’s heirloom grape tomatoes and fresh corn kernels (+minced onion, minced jalapeno) finished with RG pineapple vinegar, cilantro, flat leaf parsley and cotijo cheese (so, so yummy)

Sobering recap of the pre-vaccine, pre-WHO world and reminder of how deadly unserious the anti-vaccine arguments are. I got a childhood smallpox inoculation before it was eradicated in the US, not all that long ago - 30% mortality is absolutely incomprehensible. Vaccines save lives. WHO saves lives.
