For Veterans Day, my daughter made me this awesome card. She then went around asking her friends and our neighbors to sign it, and they did! (Not sharing because it's full of kids names.) Filled my soul.

At some point, the question must arise - will a state governor mobilize their national guard and state police to intercept another state's invasion force? The moment a foreign state invades another sovereign state, how is that anything other than civil war? 🤔

Bittersweet evening. Last sunset from the deck, as we're moving to "the flatlands" tomorrow. It's gonna be a much better locale for our kid, (and better for our knees), but I'm really gonna miss this scene. 🫡

Portland T2 vs Real Monarchs. First game we've caught at the fully completed Civic Stadium in Eugene. Fire dept showed up to water down the turf pregame, which was interesting.

I was sorta on the fence about "MJ: The Musical," but damn. Other than maybe "Mama Mia," easily the most fun I've had at a show. Sheer happiness.

Four months. We've had Socks four months. He's now six months old, and has grown like a freak of nature. Today, Rex literally walked under him without really ducking. Just insane.
