I'm disappointed, but even weak Democrats are better than the Nazi-like party MAGAts have made out of the Republican party.

It's a mixed bag...but...Republicans are always out for control and to screw the American people over. Depriving about 12% of Americans of money for food was screwing over poor people. That had to be stopped. And the only way to stop that gross evil was to do SOMETHING to open the government.

I think it depends on how long financial stress lasts. We had some financial stress but my husband's family wound up on welfare. The three boys were on the shy side, but they tended to grow out of it over time.
